Makeup Artist’s Choice 25% Mandelic Acid Peel
I love this peel! It feels very gentle but gives clear results. It helps prevent breakouts and fades spots from previous blemishes and sun damage. I have noticed it will pull out clogged pores or pimples that are lurking beneath my skin. It also leaves my skin soft and glowing by exfoliating all of the dull dead skin.
I use this peel by first cleansing my skin. I usually use a gentle cleanser since I will be following it with an acid that will remove any debris or oil that was left behind. Then I take my favorite cotton pad (Graham Professional Spa Essentials Nonwoven wipes. See my blueprint) and saturate it with enough product for my face and décolletage. I let the peel sit on my skin for at least 15 minutes then rinse with cool water. I follow up with a moisturizer. My skin immediately feelers softer and I see an improvement in pore size and tone. I make sure to do this peel once a week and spot treat areas that need it more often. I am adamant about wearing SPF after this or any peel because I don’t wan to ruin my results.
